 Descriptions | If used during pregnancy, Lenalidomide may cause severe birth defects and/or death of the foetus.
Females who can conceive and who take Lenalidomide : must take care not to become pregnant
must avoid sexual contact with men and/or use 2 forms of birth control for 4 weeks before starting on a course with Lenalidomide, whilst taking it, if dosage is interrupted, and for 4 weeks after stopping with this course of this medicine
must take a pregnancy test and ensure its negative 10 to 14 days before starting on a course with Lenalidomide and should take the test once again 24 hours prior to starting the course with Lenalidomide and
must take a pregnancy test once every week during the first 4 weeks after starting on a course with Lenalidomide followed every 2 to 4 weeks thereafter whilst on a course with Lenalidomide .
Women who experience abnormal menstrual bleeding, miss their menstrual cycle, conceive, or suspect that they may be pregnant whilst on a course with Lenalidomide must stop taking it and contact their doctor immediately.
Males who take Lenalidomide :
must avoid sexual contact with women who are pregnant or could conceive whilst on a course with Lenalidomide and for 4 weeks after stopping with this course of this medicine OR
they must take care to use a latex condom during sexual contact with women who are pregnant or could conceive for the duration of their course with Lenalidomide and for 4 weeks after stopping with this course of this medicine, even if they have undergone a successful vasectomy procedure.
Men who have unprotected sexual contact with a woman/women who is pregnant/ may become pregnant or who thinks for any reason that their sexual partner may have conceieved should contact their doctor immediately.
All patients who take Lenalidomide :
Patients must understand and follow all oral and written warnings about the risks of using Lenalidomide for the treatment of their condition.
Patients must use effective birth control methods if they are sexually active, whether male or female. They should consult their physician on the method to use.
Use of Lenalidomide may cause an increased risk of blood clots in the veins and lungs. Call your physician right away if you experience shortness of breath, chest pain, pain or swelling in the arms/legs.
Use of Lenalidomide often lowers the number of white blood cells and platelets in the blood. Call your physician right away if you experience unusual bleeding/bruising, fever, chills, or sore throat.
Blood counts should be checked each week for the first 8 weeks after starting on a course with Lenalidomide and followed up at least once every month thereafter. If for any reason a low blood count develops, it may be necessary to lower the dose and/or stop treatment.
Keep all your doctor and lab appointments while using Lenalidomide. If you do not follow anything with regards to the use of this medicine for the treatment of your condition, please consult your physician about the same and understand all instructions.

 Uses | Revlimid is used to treat a a group of conditions in which the bone marrow produces blood cells that are misshapen and do not produce enough healthy blood cells. Lenalidomide is also used to treat cancer resulting from a progressive blood disease in conjunction with other medication.

 Over Dose | In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911. |

 Missed Dose | Do not double doses to make up for a missed dose. Consult your health care professional about your missed dose. |

 Storage | Store at room temperature between 59-86 degrees F 15-30 degrees C away from heat and moisture. |

 Notes | Do not donate blood or sperm whilst you are on a course with lenalidomide.
Inform your doctor if you have or have ever had kidney disease.
