Precautions - Paliperidone

If you need to undergo any kind of surgery inform your doctor you are taking Paliperidone.
Inform your doctor if you are pregnant breast feeding or planning to conceive.
Do not treat yourself with OTC medication whilst on a course with Paliperidone without consulting with your health care professional.
Avoid alcohol and alcohol containing beverages whilst on a course with Paliperidone.
Paliperidone can also affect your blood sugar levels. Consult your health care professional for more information on the same.
Avoid extreme heat as Paliperidone can cause you to sweat less than is normal. Your body temperature could increase to dangerous levels which could lead to heat stroke.
Paliperidone may make you drowsy and/or cause diffculty with thinking and movements. Do not drive or do anything such as operating machines unless you know how this medication affects you.
Overdose - Paliperidone
In case of overdose call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing call local emergency services at 911.
Missed Dose - Paliperidone
Do not double doses to make up for a missed dose.
